    Barcelona. Catalonia. Spain. Ali Dannoun. He was born in Barcelona, Spain. His father is Ahmad Ibrahim Dannoun from Beit Taamar a village near Bethlehem. He went first into exile in Kuwait in 1964. In 1969 came to Spain with his cousin. He returned to Palestine in 1994 with his wife Rashida Ahmad Al Harrak, also Palestinian and their two children Ali and Nabil. He doesn't have the Spanish nationality. He always has to apply for visa when he goes to Palestine and come back to Spain, with all the problems that entails. Both of them, he and his brother, speak arabic fluently.

    Barcelona. Catalonia. Spain. Dania Attar. She was born in Barcelona, Spain. She is the only daughter of Mustafa Attar, a Palestinian from Al-Sarafand, a small village near Haifa. Her wife, Hala Safadi, is a Palestinian woman form Akka. They went to Barcelona, Spain, in 1995. They could go back to Palestine. Dania speaks Arabic fluently.

    Zaragoza, Spain. His father is Moamad Zorba from Nablus. He went to Spain in the 60's. He has one brother and two sisters. He has been in Palestine several times, the last one two years ago. He studied Economy and Business Management in th Zaragoza University. He's working in Amman, Jordan as an account manager. He speaks arabic fluently and also spanish (mother tongue), english, deutsch and italian.

    Barcelona. Catalonia. Spain. Laith Abu-Sharar Hamour. He was born in Barcelona, Spain. He is the oldest son of Ahmad Abu Sharar a Palestinian exporter entrepreneur from Dura, Hebron. His family stayed in Palestine and he came to Spain circa 1967 but he lost his ID because he could't update the papers. The mother of Laith, Abu- Sharar is also Palestinian. He has a younger sister, Natalia. Both of them speak, read and write arabic fluently. They also have Palestinian ID. He tries to go to visit his family in Palestine at least once a year.

    Barcelona. Catalonia. Spain. Maysun Abu-Khdeir Granados. She was born in Zaragoza, Spain. She is the youngest daughter of Mahmud Abdel Hammid Abu-Khdeir Vega. He is from Shu3fat (Shu'fat), Al Quds (Jerusalem). He came to Spain in 1966 to study medicine and couldn't go back. His mother was Spanish-Guanche from Canary Islands. In the early 20s his father, Abdel Hamid, wanted to go to U.S. but he didn't have enough money to arrived so he stop his trip in Canary Islands where he met her. They went back to Jerusalem and they got married. Mahmud's wife, Elisa Granados Orcero is Spanish. His oldest and only son is David Abu-Khdeir Granados, a nurse at a hospital. Mahmud just got the Spanish nationality in 2006 – even his mother was spanish but couldn't prove it before as his birth certificate was burt during the war – and he's planning to go back to visit his family for the first time in more than 40 years. His daughter, Maysun works as a documentary photographer, and works in this long term project about the Palestinian identity in the world, called "To Exist is to Resist" as a way to understand her own Identity and as a moral duty. None of them, Maysun and David speaks Arabic, even though Maysun speaks a little as a result of her work trips to Middle East.

He is the middle son of Sami Abdul Jawaad and Miasar Fatouni, both of them Palestinians from Salfit, small town located 45 minutes from Jerusalem. His father, Sami came to Spain in the 70's while Miasar, her mother, came in 1988. Nabil has two siblings, Omar a cardiologist and Nesrin. He and his sister, Nesrin, speak arabic fluently. He goes to Palestine once every two years to spend his summer holidays there.

Her wife, Madiha Abduh, is a Palestinian woman from Nablus. He went into exile to Jordan when he was a child. In 1991 he and his wife went to Barcelona, Spain. They didn't go back to Palestine because they didn't have anyone else there but now they have a relative living there so they are planning to visit her. Nour and her 3 siblings speak Arabic fluently and is the language they use at home between them.

    Barcelona. Catalonia. Spain. Nur Innab. She was born in Barcelona, Spain. She is the middle daughter of Mohamed Ali Innab and Salam Almaslamani, both form Nablus, in the north of Palestine. Ali came to Spain in 1970 and Salam in 1987. Nothe could come back in any moment. Nur has two siblings, Dania, (older) and Nasher (younger). Dania speaks fluent arabic but Nur and Nasher not very much. They go form time to time to visit their family in Palestine.

    Barcelona. Catalonia. Spain. Saif Abu-Keshek. He is from Nablus, West Bank. His father, Hashem Kamel Abukeshek, went in to exile to Sweeden in 2007. His mother is still in Ramallah, Palestine and she works as a journalist in the radio. He has a stepbrother from his father's first marriage. Saif came to Barcelona, Spain in 2004. He lives in Madrid working as an activist in "Paz Ahora" NGO and giving conferences around Europe. His mother tongue is Arabic but he speaks spanish and english fluently.
